Cost-Efficient

In addition to saving time, our flat-rate fees cost less than in-person notary services at US Embassies worldwide. Businesses with high-volume notary needs can subscribe to save.

What states allow electronic notarization?

There are 3 primary types of remote signing and certifications. Each state has different criteria, and American Notarization must be approved in each state to provide our services. If you don’t see your state below, check back in a month or two—as we’re working on it.

Remote Online Notarization (RON)

RON references to a 100% remote electronic process of verifying, signing, certifying, and digitally storing documents.

In-Person Electronic Notarization (IPEN)

IPEN allows a hybrid mixture of in-person signing, e-signing, and in-person notarization. Both the signer and the notary are physically present next to each other, but documents are notarized electronically.

Remote Ink-Signed Notarization (RIN)

RIN begins with a virtual session where the notary reviews the documents and watches the client physically sign the document on audio video session. Then the document is mailed to the notary to be notarized and returned to the client by mail.

We provide RIN for Apostille Authentication and Consular Legalizations.

Don’t see your state?

Electronically verify digital notarized documents 24/7!

Banks, lawyers, courts, and other third-party recipients can confirm that the RON or IPEN are valid in seconds.

We process US and international documents and contracts

Notarization

Authenticates the document, verifies the signer, and (if applicable) verifies the witnesses. Required for US citizens to be used for US RON, RIN, and IPEN contracts and documents.

Apostille

This is the document authentication and signer verification process used for RIN documents submitted in countries that are not part of The Hauge Convention.

Consular Legalization

This is the document authentication and signer verification process used for RIN documents submitted in foreign countries that are not part of The Hauge Convention.
